Hoppin' on Down the Bunny Trail

Saturday we took Alison to the zoo for the annual Easter Egg hunt and she couldn't wait to start picking up eggs. I was so proud of her. When she came to a group of eggs, she only took a few then left the rest for other kids. She also handed some eggs to other kids. It was so sweet. We redeemed her eggs for a treat bag then met up with Elliot (one of her friends she hasn't seen in a while) and his parents.

The top "must do" on Alison's and Elliot's list was riding the "Merry Go Round", so off we went. Alison, Mike, Elliot, and Elizabeth rode the carousel while Sergio and I watched, waved, and chatted. The kids then wanted to go see the horses and run around in the grass. The next stop was lunch. It was nice enough that we were able to sit outside - parent's at one table and the little munchkins at their own table. Alison and Elliot were having so much fun, we decided to go to a local park and let them play some more. Later that evening, one of my friends called to see if Alison would like to go to Chuck E. Cheese and play with her nephew....needless to say, we went and she had a blast! By the end of the evening, Alison was wiped out (so was her momma).

Sunday was Church, then coming home to see if the Easter Bunny had left her a basket. She went searching for her basket, and found out she had just missed seeing the Easter Bunny. Turns out Simon had "chased" him and he "hopped" away. She was more excited over the chocolate than her new Jasmine doll. Maybe she will "catch" him next year....then again, maybe not......
By the way, Alison took the picture of me and Mike. She is turning into quite the photographer.
